Monday is Memorial Day, so all Rome City and Floyd County Government offices will be closed.

The City of Rome’s curbside garbage, recycling, and yard waste pickup, normally on Monday, will be serviced on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s pickup will be on Wednesday.

The Walker Mountain Landfill, all remote sites, and the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center will also be closed on Monday and will reopen Tuesday.

The 24-hour drop-off for recyclables will remain open, as always.
