Man accused of making threats against a family member, DFCS worker

An Armuchee man was jailed Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with terroristic threats and acts.

According to the warrant:

35-year-old Alex Maxwell Carver made a threat to another man in his Old Dalton Road home by stating, “I will hang you.”

The same threat was made against a worker with the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services.

Report: Woman threatened to stab another woman

A Rome woman was arrested at her Dodd Boulevard apartment Wednesday after allegedly making a threat.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

44-year-old Jail Michelle Henderson threatened to stab a woman in the apartment.

The threat was picked up over a recorded phone line at 911.

Henderson is charged with terroristic threats and acts.

Man charged with obstruction, meth possession

A 60-year-old North Rome man is accused of reaching into his pocket for a knife as deputies were attempting to arrest him on felony warrants on Wednesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Steve Lorenzo Miller was also found with suspected methamphetamine and a glass smoking device

Miller charged with obstruction of law enforcement, possession of meth, possession of drug-related objects, and three counts of failure to appear in court.
