Report: Hundreds of pills seized during drug bust in North Rome

The execution of a search warrant at a residence on Burnett Street resulted in the arrest of a Rome woman on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

55-year-old Sabrina Cunningham Price was found in possession of oxycodone, amphetamine, adderall, alprazolam, and the generic form of Soma, which is a medicine used to treat pain from muscle spasms.

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers also seized gabapentin, as well as the generic form of Lyrica, used to treat muscle pain and seizures, and promethazine, commonly used to treat allergies.

There were 100 pills of each, as well as digital scales, packaging materials, and over an ounce of marijuana.

Price is charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, as well as single counts of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug-related objects, and felony possession of marijuana.
