Two people have been arrested in the theft of a vehicle from a residence on June Street late last week.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

44-year-old Michael Anthony Moss Jr. and 29-year-old Destiny Jene Mangel, both of Rome, took the 2014 Fiat 500L, valued at $4,000, on April 24.

Both are charged with felony theft by taking.

Moss is additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Suspected meth was found in the center console of the stolen vehicle.

A plastic bag containing alprazolam and oxycodone were also located.
