Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers seized 40 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 15.8 pounds of marijuana, and various other narcotics during the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Lawton Street on Wednesday.

The officers also confiscated four LSD tabs, 30 Xanax tablets, four grams of THC wax, four packages of THC edibles, three hydrocodone tablets, one oxycodone tablet, a firearm, digital scales, packaging materials, and multiple smoking devices.

23-year old Rafael Marin Castillo and 23-year old Vanessa Gutierrez are charged with felony possession of marijuana, trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of drug-related objects.
