A Shannon woman is accused of taking $220,000 from a local business.

According to an arrest warrant:

51-year-old Patricia Ann Morabito was an employee of the company, located at 701 Broad Street, Suite 200, when she deposited funds from the business into her own personal account between May 1, 2023, and August 15, 2024.

She also used friends and family to obtain funds from the victim’s account.

The victim is listed as APEX/MANCO/S&M.

Morabito is charged with felony theft by taking.
