A Rome man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 4.

According to Floyd County Jail records and arrest warrants:

40-year-old Jason Kirk Johnson shot Devin Darrell Burdette at a location at 400 Calhoun Avenue.

Johnson is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
