Spencer Hogg has been named the new president and CEO of the Rome-Floyd County Joint Development Authority.
Development authority chair Jimmy Byers made the announcement on Tuesday.
Hogg is currently the president and CEO of the Northwest Georgia Joint Development Authority, which includes Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties.
He is expected to begin his new job with the Rome-Floyd Development Authority in two weeks.
Hogg replaces Missy Kendrick who left in May to take a similar job in Columbus.
