It was a new idea that proved so popular, it’s returning.

Later this week, Downtown Rome will once again present the Night Market, which is like a typical farmer’s market, but at night.

It will be this Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

“It’s at Rotary Plaza, right there behind the Forum,” said Kristi Kent with the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism. “They had so many vendors last time that sold out, and they didn’t have enough items and produce because they weren’t expecting a crowd. So, this time, they are actually going to extend it by another hour. So, it will be from 5 until 8 p.m.”

The Rome Night Market will feature baked goods, farm produce, soaps, candles, jewelry, live music, and more.
