An Armuchee man is accused of molesting a child at his Old Summerville Road home.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
35-year-old Shane Bryan Carter is charged with child molestation, sexual battery, and aggravated sexual battery in connection with the incident that occurred between September 13 and 14.
The victim is under the age of 12.
Carter is also being held for a probation violation.
