Two East Rome men have been arrested on charges related to the sale and distribution of fentanyl.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
39-year-old Charles Edward Pollard III conspired with 58-year-old James Terry Mitchell to sell the drug on October 2.
During the execution of a search warrant at Mitchell’s Maple Avenue home that same day, police located fentanyl that was packaged for resale.
Mitchell is charged with trafficking drugs, the sale of fentanyl, and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
Meanwhile, Pollard was arrested at his Fair Street home on three counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, and a single count of possession of THC oil, plus a probation violation.
