Early voting continues for the November 4 elections, and the first round of Saturday voting is this weekend.
Rome and Floyd County residents can vote at the Floyd County Elections office on East 12th Street from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Cave Spring residents can vote on Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at Cave Spring City Hall.
Not only are there races for the Rome City Commission, the Rome School Board, and the Cave Spring City Council on the ballot, but voters will also be deciding the implementation of a one-penny sales tax to offset property taxes.
Also on the November ballot is a referendum to allow liquor by the drink and Sunday liquor sales in unincorporated Floyd County.
