A Floyd County Grand Jury has indicted three women on felony charges of public assistance fraud and false statements or writings in separate incidents.
According to Floyd County Superior Court records:
32-year-old Brianna Hope Baldwin of Cave Spring failed to disclose that her husband lived in the household and was employed when she obtained food stamps between March 2020 and August 2022.
37-year-old Patsy Fay Lee Sanchez also failed to report that her husband had a job and lived with her.
She received food stamps between September 2019 and August 2024.
Meanwhile, 40-year-old Lanesha Gilena Teague of Rome failed to report that the father of some of her children lived with her, and he also had a job while she received food stamps between September 2029 and August 2024.
All three women have been released on bond.
