Man arrested on drug trafficking charge
A Rome man was arrested on a felony cocaine trafficking charge on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
56-year-old Marvin Lee Barrett had 58 grams of cocaine, along with 820 grams of marijuana, packaging materials and scales during the execution of a search warrant at his Archer Street home back on February 20.
Barrett is also charged with possession of cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine and marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of drugs within 1,000 feet of a school.
Search warrant leads to arrest
A Rome woman was arrested at her Dodd Boulevard apartment on Tuesday on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
During the execution of a search warrant, 38-year-old Victoria Rene Roberson was found with methamphetamine, gabapentin, and glass smoking devices.
Roberson is charged with possession of meth, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug-related objects.
Man charged with meth possession
A Blacks Bluff Road man is facing a felony count of possession of methamphetamine following his arrest on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
34-year-old Nathaniel Thomas Jordan was found with suspected meth during a traffic stop on Calhoun Avenue at Stevens Street in North Rome.
