Man charged in 2023 armed robbery

A man from Temple, Georgia, was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with robbery, aggravated assault, 1st-degree burglary, and criminal trespass.

According to the warrants:

43-year-old David Gene Ray broke open the door to a residence on Avenue E in Lindale back on June 21, 2023.

Once inside, he pointed a firearm at a man and demanded money.

Man accused of stealing money from McDonald’s register

A Silver Creek man is facing two felony counts of theft by taking following his arrest on Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

18-year-old Noah James Flatt took money from the cash register at McDonald’s on Martha Berry Highway on two occasions while an employee of the restaurant.

On September 14, he took $181, and on September 15, he took $68.

The thefts were caught on video.
