Warrant: Man grabbed a disabled woman by the hair and threw her to the ground
A Rome man was jailed on Monday and charged with exploitation or intimidation of the disabled.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Kenneth Aaron Hatton grabbed a disabled woman by the hair and threw her to the ground on May 22.
He then kicked the victim, causing bruises and scrapes to her arm.
Hatton is also charged with battery and with being a fugitive from justice.
Hatton is wanted by authorities in Kentucky on unspecified charges.
Report: Man who called 911 several times, found with cocaine
A Silver Creek man was arrested on Monday at his Wax Road residence on charges of possession of cocaine and unlawful conduct during a 911 call.
According to Floyd County jail records:
46-year-old Kevin Ward Clark Sr. called 911 several times for no reason.
He was then found with suspected cocaine.
Clark is also being held on a parole violation.
