The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded a contract for the resurfacing of a portion of Highway 411 in Bartow County.
The project includes 5.295 miles of paving, beginning at Hardin Bridge Road at Kingston Elementary School and extending north to the Highway 41 bridge in Cartersville.
Bartow Paving was the low bidder at just over $6 million.
The estimated completion date is March 31, 2027.
