Over two days, veterans from across Northwest Georgia will have access to services and information during the We CARE Vet Fair at the Forum River Center in Downtown Rome.
On Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until noon, there will be a Women Veterans Engagement event.
A VA healthcare enrollment blitz is from 9 to 5.
On Thursday night, there is a free community concert at 7:00 p.m. on the Town Green featuring Brother Mojo.
On Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 4 p.m., over 100 community partners (federal, state, local, and nonprofit organizations) will be on site with FREE health screenings.
Veteran Service Officers from the VA and GDVS will be on-site helping file benefits claims and enroll Veterans in VA healthcare at NO COST, all day long.
There will also be community education sessions to help veterans and their families learn more about resources available to them, and as always, there will be a wide range of resources on site, including health services, housing support, employment connections, and more, all in one place.
