The Georgia Rome’s Office of Tourism hosted a community event on the Town Green outside the Forum in Downtown Rome on Monday night, inviting the community to mingle and watch a drone show after sunset.
Featuring a concession stand, a bar, and the water fountain in the town green; families arrived at 7pm to let their kids play in the water fountain and sit in their lawn chairs and blankets in anticipation of a drone show. While the sun was out, Romans mingled and listened to the live DJ before gathering under the night sky and watching the drone show. The show featured depictions such as the American Flag, a Bald Eagle, and even Rome’s iconic Clock Tower. Marking a show of pride for Romans, the show featured many landmarks of Rome as well as classic American iconography.
